Put in some of that boooooty wuurrrk today. I admit, I ate a little too much sugar and salt this weekend. I can feel the bloattttt. Oh well. I enjoyed it. Time to move forward, no regrets!! Lol. Happy Monday everyone! Good vibes and wellness to you and your vision/goals. Let’s keep manifesting. By the way, if you haven’t heard of Russ, check him out. Today’s workout/legs + hiit

1 min jump rope speed

1 warm up set squats with 115lbs

 

Back to back—

5x one min jump speed rope

5x 8 squats with barbell 135lbs

 

3x8 straight leg deadlifts with barbell

3x 8 donkey kicks w/band

3x8 calve raises with barbell

3 x 1 min plank holds

 

 

Aaaand now I’m walking like a baby giraffe. 😂😂😂😅😅😅🔥🔥🔥💯💯💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

 Worked on running today for some detox and recovery. Haven’t had the best eating and drinking habits, but am surely starting to substitute and make conscious choices with the self awareness I’m building.  

 Did my best. I didn’t experience any anxiety due to it being empty with just me and my boyfriend there. To be honest, those are my favorite workouts lol. Especially since I get real weird sometimes during my mentally ill days.  

 Was able to get 6 400meter runs in at about average 2:15 min each. I know I know, sounds horrible but I’m stoked. I could’ve been faster but I kept dying in between sets. Gotta build myself up!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏽 

 The only one I fear, is that lil homie in the mirror. 😎🙌🏽💯💯✊🏽✊🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

8/24/17 It was beautiful outside so I decided on a hiit workout with the jump rope again. I slammed my knee the other day, but good news, I think I’m recovered from that day I took off. Minor bruising, no pain!

My cardio capacity is increasing. I can feel it. Whew.

This is what I hit—
10 sets total, each workout back to back with 1 min rest in between

Jump rope 1 min
5 push-ups then,
Hold plank until the min is up

Rest one min and repeat.


💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥 killed it. Feels so great to feel my self esteem building in a positive again.
It’s crazy how we don’t really realize the negative and toxic things we do to ourselves… but I’m on a personal mission to conquer and reverse my mental health decline that I feel I gradually got myself into. This blog means something to my heart because looking at my posts is helping to see the concrete progress. Even in the way I’m thinking and talking to myself.🙌🏽💯💯💪🏽💪🏽👏🏽👏🏽✊🏽✊🏽♥️♥️
